Introducing the Süpa. Klunka. Checkum out.
 
R-eCycle, builds custom eBIke conversions by request for our customers. Occasionally we have 'ideas' and start building something we think needs to be made. We then offer these as complete eBikes, ready to roll. The Süpa Klunka is one such example.
 
This build starts with a State Bicycle Co, everythink black, Klunker. The goal was to produce a solid, do anything eBike (that's cool) for <$2k. Here it is...
 
This steel framed retro cruiser sports 27.5" wheels and nobbly tires. BMX bars. Old school meets new school vegan leatherette seat. The State Klunker is a single speed made for boardwalk cruising, tooling around in the dirt, urban assault or an evening milk run. SBC describes it as 'one size fits all' (5'5" - 6'3").
 
Then we got a hold of it. Now it flattens hills, eats single track, and keeps up with the Jones' in traffic. Like a beast. The electric assist makes it a true, do-anything bicycle. Now it's Süpa! 
 
The base configuration shown sports a 52V 500W Tong Sheng TSDZ2B motor kit and a 14.4Ah, 749Wh battery pack using LG 21700 cells. The integrated torque sensing bottom bracket on the Tong Sheng delivers creamy, intuitive power at the crank. It can be outfitted with the optional Open Source Firmware (OSF) upgrade which wakes this motor up to squeeze more power out of the motor and improved responsiveness from the torque sensor. To round out this package, we added side pull rim brakes (so it will stop!) with classic steel cable camps. Tape wrapped grips and Free Agent chain tensioners complete the set.
 
And yes, it retains the signature State Bicycle Co. bottle opener.
 
These bikes are now built by request. The price as listed includes the base model State Klunker with a TongSheng TSDZ2B motor kit with VLCD5 display and  a 13Ah battery pack.
 
We offer a wide range of options for this bike including any of the motor kits available in our online store including the Bafang BBS02 and BBSHD, the CYC Photon, X1 Stealth or X1 Pro. We can further customize the build with the addition of a 10 speed derailleur, front disc brake, a choice of 27.5 or 29" wheels, a front suspension fork, front and rear lights, Lekkie Bling Ring or Buzz Bars, among others.
